  ROZEREM Interactions

It is important to note that you should NOT take Rozerem if you’re currently taking LUVOX® (fluvoxamine) or if you have severe liver problems.

Additionally, before taking Rozerem, be sure to tell your Doctor if you are taking any of the following medications:
- cimetidine (Tagamet);
- rifampin (Rifadin, Rifater, Rifamate, Rimactane);
- antibiotics such as fluconazole (Diflucan), itraconazole (Sporanox), or ketoconazole (Nizoral); or
- narcotic pain medications, muscle relaxers, seizure medications, or anti-anxiety medications.

If you are using any of these medications, you may or may not be able to use Rozerem (based on your Doctor's evaluation), or you may need special dosage adjustments and/or special tests during treatment.

There may also be other medications (not listed above) that could cause a negative interaction with Rozerem. Be sure to tell your Doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications that you're use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and medications prescribed by other doctors. Importantly also, do not start using a new medication without first letting your Doctor know.
