Rozerem may cause a severe allergic reaction. Stop taking Rozerem immediately and get emergency medical help if you notice any of these signs of an allergic reaction - hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Rozerem will make you fall asleep. Never take it during your normal waking hours, unless you have a full 7 to 8 hours to dedicate to sleeping.

Possible serious side effects of Rozerem include: aggression, agitation, changes in behavior; thoughts of hurting self; hallucinations (hearing or seeing things); or changes in menstrual periods, discharge from the nipples. If you're taking Rozerem and notice any of these serious side effects, stop taking it immediately and call your doctor.

Less serious Rozerem side effects include: day-time drowsiness, dizziness, "hangover" feeling; depression; headache; nausea, constipation; unusual or unpleasant mouth taste; or joint or muscle pain.

Side effects other than those detailed above may also occur. Be sure to speak to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or particularly bothersome.
